The overall NY Fashion Week '12 was fabulous to see and it was tough to pick two of my favorites but I would say it would be Alberta Ferretti collection for my first. Words fall short of what I felt for this collection. My favorite outfits are short dresses in my wardrobe and she had some amazing pieces that really took my breath away! The elegant yet neutral colours were a welcome change to many of the bright loud colours we have been seeing in the fashion magazines offlate. The camel coats dresses, to white glitter jackets and skirts with belts were the show stealers for me.
ALBERTA FERRETTI
Micheal Kors is definitely my second pick. There was a retro theme of early 1930-1940's look overall. The bright colours and gorgeous textures really stand out in contrast to the Alberta Ferretti collection, still he knows how to add vibrant colours and make it look classic. I love the suits overall they look so comfortable and I feel like rushing to Micheal Kor's store and just buy them. The clothes are trendy yet you could wear them for your day to day events. The collection also featured evening wear gowns which looked like they might appear in the next Red carpet events. So stay tuned for those looks.
