Hi my lovelies
I know its been long overdue that I shared my experience to Dresden in February of this year! So here goes...firstly, well its was really cold. I thought -20 was supposed to be the coldest weather I've experienced, but nothing prepared me for Dresden! It was near -16 and still it felt like there was ice in my shoes!
You might notice that I'm actually smiling in my photos but its also hinting at my teeth chattering lol. I guess we all need to have those funny experiences too, so thats exactly what I took the weather as. We decided to head out to explore the city and siteseeing. Considering the freezing weather we realised quickly that travelling to far off places would not be possible.
Luckily, my hubby and I were staying in the city centre that helped us a lot! The musuems, malls and restro's were nearby and within walking distance. So we decided to spend each day exploring all these places. Altmarkt galerie trust me is like one of the hugest malls I've seen in recent times with every top designer from across the globe! We spent atleast 3-4 hours in 2 days and still it didnt seem enough. Its over 20 blocks of stores, cafes, restros and lots of fun stuff to do. I think that place was a fashion house with really inspiring styles and clothes.
Another very important aspect is FOOD! Continential and Indian food are my favorites!! So we spotted some great restros and we just about made these places our second home! Good food is as important as site-seeing for me! Lol. I know I sound like I eat all the time...but to be honest, I am a huge eater and I just dont seem to gain weight. I workout though and I love yoga so those are things I probably do to make sure to stay in shape :p
So as the pictures can tell you I was fascinated with these images of drawings/paintings of sorts on the walls on the road. The museums we also explored and had a great time but while we were heading back to the hotel, I felt my feet were frozen and once I reached hotel I realised walking out for too long was not a good idea.
Finally, I've shared some photos of us with my hubby friend who was with us and we all had a great time! I would say that Dresden is a beautiful city and the architecture! Its a definite must see :))
F.E Diaries: Recently, I saw Reese weatherspoon wearing this gorgeous pencil dress. It instantly reminded me of my Bebe outfit I wore sometime back when I was in US. So very similar right? :))
So I get this mail today asking me to be a part of a Stylish person for my blog by Threadflip! Of course I accepted! Details soon!
